Statement from Nexperia
八月 31, 2026Nijmegen -- On 31 August 2026, an announcement was published by Wingtech relating to court-ordered preservation measures in connection with legal proceedings initiated in China by Wingtech against Nexperia B.V., Itec B.V., and several members of Nexperia B.V.'s Executive Management Team.
The measures relate to certain equity interests in Chinese subsidiaries and do not affect the day-to-day operations, management, or business continuity of Nexperia B.V. and its subsidiaries. The announced court-ordered preservation measures relate solely to entities in China that have been operating outside Nexperia B.V.'s governance structures since October 2025, over which Nexperia B.V. has no control and which play no part in Nexperia B.V.’s current operations.
The underlying legal proceedings have not yet been heard on their merits, and Nexperia is currently reviewing the court order and its available legal options. Property preservation orders of this kind are a routine procedural step in Chinese civil litigation, often easily granted and made without a ruling on the merits of the underlying claims.
