74LVCH162374A为16位边沿触发的触发器，具有适合于每个触发器的单独D型输入以及适合于总线定向应用的3态输出。该器件由8个边沿触发的触发器分成两部分组成。每个八路触发器均具有时钟(CP)输入和输出使能输入(OE)。输入端可由3.3 V或5 V器件驱动。禁用时，可以向输出端应用高达5.5 V的电压。这些特性允许在混合3.3 V和5 V应用中使用这些器件。触发器存储符合从低至高CP转变的设定和保持时间要求的单个D输入状态。当OE为低电平时，触发器的内容在输出端可用。当OE为高电平时，输出端进入高阻抗关断状态。OE输入端的操作不会影响触发器的状态。

为了降低线路噪声，高低输出级均包括30 Ω串联端接电阻。
