Statement from Nexperia
十一月 05, 2026Nijmegen -- Nexperia B.V. today issues a statement to provide an update on recent legal developments involving Nexperia.
Nexperia continues to focus on business stability, while protecting its interests in litigation
Nexperia confirms that multiple litigations are ongoing between Nexperia, and Wingtech and Nexperia China, both before Dutch and Chinese courts. Importantly, Nexperia is continuing to supply products to its customers, to enter into cooperations with third parties, and to further expand and stabilize our global supply chain.
Nexperia's priorities remain running and protecting the business, serving our customers and safeguarding the long-term interests of the company. Our recently announced Q3 2026 results showcase Nexperia's resilience and prove our position as a reliable global business partner.
Since October 2025, Nexperia China has – under Wingtech's control – been operating outside Nexperia’s established corporate governance framework, which has materially negatively impacted Nexperia's business. As a result, Nexperia has suffered significant damages, which are currently estimated at USD 2 billion. Nexperia confirms that it has initiated legal proceedings in the Netherlands aimed at recovering these damages against Wingtech, Nexperia China, and Mr. Xuezheng Zhang (Wing).
Furthermore, on 2 November 2026, the Court of The Hague granted Nexperia's injunction request, preventing Nexperia (China) Ltd. from, in the European Union, relying on, enforcing, or otherwise making use of a Chinese court judgment that would limit Nexperia from enforcing its intellectual property rights. The ruling of the Court of The Hague reaffirms our position and our ability to enforce those rights and further protects the company's intellectual property rights.
Nexperia B.V. is the registered owner of intellectual property rights used within its group throughout the world, including patents relating to semiconductor products, manufacturing methods, and Nexperia trademarks.
